Teen-Town Model

Teen-Town's mission is to raise up, equip, and organize a global youth fellowship that changes the  world through the transforming power of the Gospel.

CGLC

The Teen-Town movement is anchored by the Chosen Generation Leadership Corps (CGLC).

CGLC chapters work together to establish Teen-Town and carry out local transformation efforts.

CGLC members are engaged, supported and developed as emerging leaders who will be agents of transformation in their communities and beyond. They have a key role in evangelizing and discipling their peers and younger children. They are assisted in forming a healthy fellowship that replaces the unhealthy alternatives. They are empowered to be active in the mission of the Kingdom of God.

FORCES

Four color-coded Force divisions (RED, BLUE, GREEN, YELLOW) provide structure to the Teen-Town community. They are led by D2Os and the CGLC. Forces generate ongoing fun competition, peer-leadership development, and community action. Each Force color has a biblical significance and is used to teach foundational Kingdom truths.

SQUADS

Forces are further divided into Squads for evangelism, discipleship and other small group activities.

Project Impact

Local. National. Global.

Through PROJECT IMPACT, CGLC members learn to "act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with [their] God" (Micah 6:8).

THE COMMUNITY TRANSFORMATION PROJECT:  Organize against street violence – its causes and effects – using prayer and evangelism (2 Chronicles 7:14)

THE NU-IDENTITY PROJECT:  Expose the imposed false identity of Hip Hop and its destructive effects upon the generation. Discover your true identity in Christ as sons and daughters of God (2 Corinthians 5:17)

THE CAMPUS IMPACT PROJECT:  Mobilize in high schools to conduct regular "See you at the pole" prayer gatherings; host R3C Clubs, creating an environment of safety, achievement and Christian community on local campuses (Isaiah 54:13)

THE L.I.F.E. PROJECT: Expose the injustice of abortion, become a voice for the unborn, and cultivate a culture of life (Psalm 139:14)

THE GLOBAL JUSTICE PROJECT: Raise awareness of the global slave trade and work to see it end (Isaiah 58:6)

Rally Friday

Teen-Town is fueled by encounters with the saving and transforming power of God. Hundreds of youth have attended Rally Friday Services. These weekly services provide ministry that is relevant within today's youth culture without compromising biblical standards or the message and ministry of the Gospel.

Fun games, great fellowship, good food, relevant ministry, on-fire worship, all help to make Rally Friday a key energizing time for the CGLC army.

The CGLC army is brought together to celebrate weekly accomplishments, to recognize leaders for their growth and service, and for its leaders to express their creative ministry gifts.

Youth Power ConneXion

Youth Power ConneXions are gatherings that connect members of the “John the Baptist Generation” (born between 1980-2000) with the heart and the mission of Heaven.

They are a time to impart vision, passion, and commitment to the things of God.

  • Passionate preaching, provoking the generation to arise as the Army of the Lord.

  • Prophetic instruction concerning the times, God’s plans, and how each one can link-in to combat the enemy’s strategies.

  • Powerful, life-changing encounters in the presence of God.

Youth Power ConneXions are hosted by the D2O Army (young adult "Deliverers, Developers and Organizers") and ranking leaders of the CGLC.

They take place during the course of a weekend or an extended week, and include practical application exercises in which students are prepared and organized to participate in community evangelism using the Gospel Star or other acts of community transformation that are determined by the team and the hosting site.
